Key Marketing is a spin off of our original company that started in Los Angeles, California in 1984. Our main business was commercial printing for accounts like Disney, Hewlett Packard, UCLA, National Cancer Society, National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Girl Scouts of America, Country Wide Mortgage, major restaurant chains and political figures.

In 1985, we the first and only company to create the process to print thermal paper rolls with local, regional and national sponsors for Brunswick and AMF bowling centers throughout the United States for their newly invented automatic scoring machines. It was in 1990 that we were introduced to the hospitality industry. We manufactured specialized Guest Information frames for the rooms of the hotels that matched the hotel décor , with the major ski resorts in the U.S. being our major clients. We then ventured into room guest directories and key tags for metal keys.

In 1994,  we sold the commercial printing division of our company and moved our offices to New Orleans, Louisiana. It was there that we continued to build on our Hotel Guest Directory business. It was early in 1995 that we came up with the innovative idea of placing sponsors on hotel key cards. We were the first company to introduce that idea, after speaking with Tesa Lock, the leader in new lock installations throughout the country. After a short time in the key card business, we found ourselves outfitting our company with all the equipment needed to start producing key cards. It was a business that truly depended on fast service.

Key Marketing now produces products only for the hospitality industry. We print all of our products by direct sale or though the paid sponsorship we offer to the hotels. It is on rare occasions that we still produce fund raising cards for select clients.
